Pamela Davis willingly agreed to a public admonish and not to repeat the conduct at problem.

The B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives has admonished a Prince George nurse for a July 2020 incident.

 

According to the college, LPN Pamela Davis touched a patient’s open skin lesion or rash with an ungloved hand, and then touched the exposed skin on the face of a care aide and the clothing on the care aide’s shoulder using the same soiled hand.

Davis willingly agreed to a public admonish and not to repeat the conduct at issue. She also decided to take part a practice discussion to precisely work through the issues related to the happening, and complete homework related to the professional practice issues, the college reported on its website.
