A khaki-colored blazer and brown pajama trousers were the last things he was seen wearing.

In order to find a missing 14-year-old boy from Surrey, police and his parents are appealing to the public for any information.

The wellbeing of Joseph Chen is a matter that worries his family. They claim that Joseph’s extended absence is out of character for him.

According to a police release, he was last seen at 2:30 pm on Thursday near the 16200 block of 88 Avenue in Surrey.

The teenager is characterized as an Asian boy who is 5′ 6′′ tall and weighs 123 lbs. He has dark eyes and black hair that reaches his shoulders.

He was last spotted wearing a brown pair of pajamas with a teddy bear print on the leg and a khaki jacket.

Joseph, we love you,” Cherry Chen, Joseph’s mother, stated on Sunday morning while speaking from a parking lot on Annacis Island next to the Alex Fraser Bridge.

“Everyone loves you; return safely. You are being awaited by everyone.”

According to security camera footage from a company on Annacis Island, which was obtained by Joseph Chen’s father, Alex Chen, at around 4 p.m. on Thursday, Joseph can be seen going south towards Delta on the east walkway of the bridge.

Anybody having dash camera footage from the region at that time is urged to contact Joseph’s parents.

Authorities have not yet determined whether the 16200 block of 88 Avenue has changed from where the adolescent was last spotted.
